What do you charge for your event paintings and what are the sizes?
Event paintings are $1200 for a 30" x 40" (other sizes are available).
What is required to book you?
20% retainer to secure the date 60% 30 days prior to the date. Final 20% by delivery.
What is the process and how long does it take?
All paintings are painted on stretched canvas with acrylic paint. During the process I apply texture and varnish several times to give them depth. At events, I will arrive two hours before the guests. This will allow me time to set up and paint the background. As the guests arrive, I will begin composing the painting. At the end of your event your painting will be nearly complete. I will take it back to the studio to enhance the final painting. The finished painting following the event will be delivered in two weeks.
Do you paint portraits?
Yes. Some samples are located under Gallery. Prices start at $800 sizes vary. 50% deposit.
Are you available to travel?
Yes I do. I will require the expense of the airfare and accommodations and transportation to and from the event, as well as the base price.
Do you ever paint from photographs of an event?
Yes. I will require a group of (not posed) photographs. Three weeks. $900 for a 30" x40". 50% deposit.
How much input may I have?
Prior to the event I’d like to have a meeting to discuss the part of the event that you would like to have painted, and a few people who are important to you. Paintings are so personal and I want to make this something you and your family will enjoy looking at for a very long time.
